From year two onwards, the course covers the essential building blocks of English law. You’ll explore:
Contract, tort, and criminal law
Public law, human rights, and the legal system
Property and land law
Legal research and analysis
Ethics and professional legal practice
This is a Qualifying Law Degree (QLD), meaning it meets the academic requirements for progressing toward solicitor or barrister training in England and Wales. You'll also build valuable skills in reasoning, debate, and legal writing—opening doors to careers in law, policing, compliance, business, or the public sector.
