Looking to lead projects and drive results in business, construction, tech or beyond, but don’t have traditional qualifications like A-Levels? This four-year degree starts with a foundation year designed to build your academic confidence and study skills, making university-level learning accessible no matter your background.
During your foundation year, you’ll strengthen your skills in research, problem-solving, communication, and time management: the tools you’ll need to succeed throughout the degree and in the professional world.
From there, you’ll move into the core of the programme, exploring what it takes to plan, lead, and deliver projects across a range of sectors. Topics include:
- Project planning and scheduling
- Risk and resource management
- Budgeting and procurement
- Agile and traditional project methodologies
- Leadership, teamwork, and stakeholder communication
You’ll learn how to navigate real business challenges and make decisions that deliver impact, preparing you for roles like project coordinator, operations manager, or project analyst. This course also aligns with industry expectations and can serve as a stepping stone toward professional certifications like PRINCE2® or APM.

No. It helps if you do, but the course teaches planning and delivery from the basics.
Which industries use project managers?
Almost all of them, including construction, technology, healthcare, the public sector and events.
Will I learn Agile?
Yes. You’ll study Agile and traditional project methods, and when to use each one.
